In 2004 the population of India was
and in the year 2012, it was 120 crore.
In the year 2004, the estimated
population for the year 2012 was 165
crores, which was one of the major
issues, to be tackled by the Prime
Minister.
This reduced 45 crore population was
the outcome of the various steps and
measures taken by the PM such as-:

The average annual growth rate of the


economy during 2004-05 to 2011-12
was 8.2%
The expected growth of the Indian
Economy was 6.9% during 2011-12 in

economy and tight monetary policy at
home to control inflation.

CONCLUSION
Mr. Singh as a prime minister has done all the
necessary deeds for the nation. As you all know
each side has its own pros and corns. He has
generated employment in the country and on the
contrary has faced scams like 2G scams, Coal
scams and etc.
But why do we forget that he is the man behind
averting the crisis in the year 1992. He is the man
who carried out several structural reforms that
liberalized Indias economy. Or else we dont think
that Indian would have grown with this speed at
which India has grown. He has initiated major
projects like unique identification project and act
of right to information.The failure is not of a man
