Purpose
Purposeaprocedureis a

instructs the reader how to do
something.in a procedural or
instructional text the writer is
usually trying to tell the reader
how to do something. This may
include the resources or tools
needed to make something
and the steps on how to make
it.Examples of this include
cooking recipes.

Generic Structure Procedure Text

Aim/ Goal
In the first part of the generic sturcture Procdeure Text contains
information about the purpose in making something.
2. Materials
In the second part, Materials consist of the materials used in making
something. But not all parts of Procedure Text includes materials,
sometimes a procedure text does not have a part materials
3. Steps
On the steps, contains the steps or sequences that must be done so that
the goals outlined in the Aim / Goal to be achieved. Steps or sequences
must be order from the first to the last.
In the procedure text in the form of How-to ("Anyway titled how to"),
sometimes the material needed (materials needed) are not included. (rules
are not mandatory and can still be changed
.

There are several features of the Procedure Text language,

such as:
1. In Simple Present, the action is simply mentioned
and there is nothing being said about its
completeness. It is used to talk about an action
which happens on a regular basis.
2. Using imperative sentence usually uses to give
command and prohibition to other people
(Command), for example, Cut, Do not mix, and so on.
Using action verbs, such as turn, put, do not, mix, etc.
3. Using connectives (conjunctions) to sort of activities, such
as then, while, next, first, finally, etc..
4. Using the adverbials (adverb) to reveal details of time,
place, manner accurate, for example, for five minutes, 2
hours, etc..

Conclusion
Between Explanation and Procedure Text.Procedure is commonly called
as an instruction text. It uses a pattern of command in building the
structure and uses the to infinitive verb which is omitted the to as
well. It is mainly used to describe how to make something which is close
to our daily activity. How to make a cup of tea, how to make a good kite,
etc. Are the best example of a procedure text. While explanation
commonly uses the passive voice in building the text. It is used such as
in a scientific written material. It describes how certain phenomenon or
event happens. How a tornado formed, how tsunami works are the best
