Planned Parenthood
Planned Parenthood is a nonprofit organization which
provides various reproductive health services that are
offered to anyone at an affordable rate.
Founded by Margret Stranger in the early 1900s. In 1916
she opened up Americas first birth control clinic. She fought
for gender equality. She wanted women to have the
freedom to control their reproductive health.
Today there are approx 700 clinics nationwide. The
organizations message is the same. They continue to
provide services, education and research. They continue to
advocate for womens rights.
