2. How to perform CPR in


the correct way?

DRCAB
D - danger
R - Response
C - Compression
A - airway
B - breathing

1. Danger - assess and prevent


danger
Make sure surrounding victim are safe
Move victim if not safe
Make sure the crowd are secure

2. Response victim awareness


Call the victim by shaking the shoulders gently and say
aih..staga boss ko ok kah!!?
Check pulse (neck,etc)
If no response call for help
Make someone to help you call the ambulance and bring the
Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)

Supine the victim

3. Compression
30 times compression + 2 breathing = 1 cycle

Put lower third sternum


Pivot from the hips
Keep compressing arm straight
Your shoulder must above chest
1.5 inches to 2 inches
80 100 compression per minute

4. Airway
Open airway
Head tilt chin lift

5. Breathing rescue breath


two rescue breath for 1 - 2 second
Feel, listen, and look the chest movement

3. How many cycle?

30 times compression

How many round?


Do chest compression for 5 cycle
30 compress + 2 air blow = 1 cycle

After 5 cycle check pulse

Check pulse

2 x Air blow

Repeat for 5 round

Recovery position

It is very easy to do CPR
