HISTORY
Huawei Technologies is a Chinese private multinational hightech company specializing in research and development (R &
D), production and marketing of electronic communications
equipment and provides customized network solutions for
operators in the telecommunications industry.
Huawei was founded by Ren Zhengfei in 1987 as a distributor of
imported PBX products, with an initial registered capital of RMB
24000. In 1989, Huawei began the development and sale of its
own PBX. After accumulating knowledge and resources in the
business of call centers, Huawei achieved its first breakthrough
into the main chain of the telecommunications market in 1993,
releasing their C & C083 digital telephone switch having a
capacity of more than ten thousand circuits.

 In 1994, Huawei established in transmission equipment business long

distance, launching their own network of integrated HONET access
and SDH product line.
In 1996, Huawei won its first contract outside borders, providing basic
telephony products to Hong Kong Company Hutchison- Whampoas.
Then, in 1997, Huawei launched its GSM and expands its product
offering to the CDMA and UMTS technologies.
The United States argued in 2000 that Huawei had set up a
telecommunications system in Iraq that could have violated UN
sanctions. Anyway, the foreign minister, Tang Jiaxuan companies and
Chinese companies refused to attend Iraq in building fiber optic lines
for air defense but the United States did not accuse the Chinese
workers specifically build fiber optic lines.
From 1998 to 2003, Huawei contracted with IBM for management,
consulting and undergoes a significant transformation of its
management and product development structure. After 2001, Huawei
increased its speed of expansion into overseas market. In 2004, its
sales outside the borders, surpassed sales in the domestic market.
Huawei has strategic connections with Siemens for developing TDSCDMA. In 2003, Huawei began a strategic alliance called Huawei 3Com for making protocol -based routers and switches Internet.

 Huawei and American security firm Symantec

announced in May 2007 the signing of the union that
will develop safety equipment and data storage for
operators of telecommunications market. Huawei will
own 51 % of the new company to be called Huawei Symantec Inc. Symantec will own the remaining 49 %
stake in the new company. The company will be
based in the city of Chengdu.
In May 2008, Huawei joined Optus in developing a
mobile innovation center in Sydney, Australia,
designed to accelerate the adoption of mobile and
wireless broadband high velocity.

 In March 2009, the Wi MAX Forum announced four new

members to its Board of Directors including Thomas Lee,
the Vice Director of the Department of
Industrial Standards Huawei.

Grameenphone Ltd. and Huawei won the Green Mobile

Award at the GSMA Mobile Awards 2009.
In 2012 Huawei has been targeted in several major markets
in developed countries. He has been charged on suspicion
of spying for the government of China by the government
of the United States , for the same reason it has been
banned as a contractor of the Government of Canada and
Australia and faces an investigation for alleged illegal
practices in the European Union , this could affect their
businesses and also to China's ZTE .

In 2014, Huawei sponsored the Peruvian team Sporting

Cristal in the Decentralized Championship 2014 in which the
club finished as champion.

The December 11, 2014 Huawei was announced as the

sponsor of the current two-time champion of the Series A
soccer of Ecuador, The Club Sport Emelec. The logo of the
multinational China will be located on the back right.

In January 2015, Huawei was announced as the mian

sponsor of the reigning first A category Colombian football
club Independent Santa Fe. The logo of the multinational
China will be located in the chest of the team jersey.

In February 2015 was announced as the new title sponsor of

Club America of the Mexico.

In April 2015, Huawei became the official sponsor of Club

Bolivia, current National twice champion the Bolivian
Professional Football.

HUAWEI
In Huawei, the principal activity is to make electronic devices such
as smartphones, cellphones, tablets, interconnection systems,
modems, PBXs, etc. But, we are best known for making
smartphones, our main activity.
In recent years, we have focused more on the production of
electronic equipment of high capacity and speed.
Most current devices developed by us are: Huawei Ascend
G510,Huawei Ascend Y300, and the most recent: The Huawei Ascend
P6.
We also develop more efficient wireless Internet connections or Wi-Fi
network. As a result, we have progressed and innovated our
international market in terms of electronics is concerned. We have
entered in the field of developing computational systems to improve
our products and meet the needs of our buyers.

among the six most respected telecommunications
companies in the world.
