WHAT IS PARISH YOUTH DAY?


The PARISH YOUTH DAY is a biennial
gathering of young people from the
Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish - Kitcharao,
Agusan del Norte.
Though it was named youth day as it
locally adopted the World Youth Day, the
gathering usually lasts in two to four days.
The gathering is composed of varieties of
programs including prayers, catecheses,

inviting and embracing all young people
belonging to its territory, regardless of
affiliation, organization, and even religion

GOAL
The PARISH YOUTH DAY is primarily an activity of a catholic
youth ministry. As such, the activity from a broader perspective
aims toward the following principal goals:
1. To establish and strengthen the youth
relationship with Christ;

of the PARISH YOUTH DAY is to enable
the young people to come to a
personal, conscious, and free decision
of faith and conversion. Once a
relationship with Christ is established,

Here are some helpful tips on how to prepare for the
Parish Youth Day 2016.
A BIT OF BACKGROUNDER:
The Conference
The gathering itself is a Church celebration of faith;
make sure to DRESS APPROPRIATELY.

Males: No shorts and slippers; no sleeveless please.


Females: Comfortable but decent clothes; smart
casual most preferred. No sleeveless.

PEOPLE to be worn in SEXY PLACE
and OCCASION Julie Yap-Daza.]
Be faithful to participate in all events.
Be frugal in using electronic gadgets and camera
specially during catecheses, prayer and Eucharistic
Celebrations.

This Youth Day will be attended by youth
ministers, youth leaders and other youth
members,

furthermore please do the following:

conversations should be banned.

Make sure you have enough clothing for the
entire duration.
Washing of clothes should be avoided.
Please bring the following:

o Rosary beads
o Toiletries and other personal things.
o (sleeping bag, malong, a thin blanket or
mat)

Eucharistic Offering during the Mass.

Since all delegates will be housed in the
classrooms, the following are helpful and
practical tips:

and respect curfew time.

1. Meals will be distributed at designated areas.

2. Garbage bags are strategically located within
the area. Put trash accordingly.

4. No one is allowed to leave the venues during
the activities except for emergencies.
