INTRODUCTION
Production management
means planning, organising,
directing and controlling of
production activities.
Production management
deals with converting raw
materials into finished
goods or products. It brings
together the 6M's i.e. men,
money, machines,
materials, methods and
markets to satisfy the wants
of the people.

OBJECTIVES
1)To produce the goods as per the quality
demanded by the customers in most economic
manner.
2)To produce the goods as per market demand.
3)To keep proper maintenance of plant and
machinery
4)Maximize the utilization of manpower.

Production planning is the
planning of production and
manufacturing processes in a
company or industry. It utilizes
the resource allocation of
activities of employees,
materials and
production capacity, in order
to serve different customers

Plant layout is a mechanism
which involves knowledge of the
space requirements for the
facilities and also involves their
proper arrangement so that
continuous and steady
movement of the production
cycle takes place.

The purchasing management
ensures that all goods, supplies
and inventory needed to operate
the business are ordered and
kept in stock. It is also
responsible for controlling the
cost of the goods ordered,
controlling inventory levels and
building strong relationships with
suppliers.

CONCLUSION
We conclude that there should be proper
relations between employees and the
manager. There should be proper
manufacturing system and it should be
planned and allotted to the workers. The
location of the factor must be such that
it is easy to get the recourses nearby.
The quality of the product should be
maintained, so that the company do not
suffer losses.
