-Ensure that every Marine is hydrated prior to conduct of
exercise.
-Have all PSOs ensure every Marine has is carrying at
least 2 liters of water sources prior to conduct of
exercise.

-NCOs enforce work/ rest/ hydration schedule.

-Corpsman will identify Marines not acclimated or who
have had previous heat injuries. Report these Marines
to OIC, coordinate safety measures, and watch
symptoms closely.
-OIC will adjust work load during temperature extremes
(over 80 degrees F)
-Conduct route recon and ensure that dangerous terrain
is avoided by marking areas with cones or e-tape
-OIC briefs Marines on danger area locations
-PCCs/PCIs to ensure PPE is worn properly
