Unemployed simply means you currently dont have

a job.

within an economy and inefficiencies in labor markets.

the unemployed workers and the skills
needed for the jobs that are available.

Frictional Unemployment

unemployment within an economy.

unemployment that occurs when there is not
enough aggregate demand in the economy to
provide jobs for everyone who wants to work.

unemployed workers is greater that the
number of job vacancies.

wages are kept above the market clearing
wage rate, leading to a surplus of labor
supplied.

unemployment that does not go away on its
own even in the long run.

result a huge number of labors are becoming the
victims of unemployment.

contributes 20.9% to GDP and 44% people get jobs

from this sector directly or indirectly.
Another cause of unemployment is terrorism, due to

this the nationals and as well as foreigners are

frightened to invest in Pakistan. So when investors will
not invest so how can job or earning opportunities are
being created?

really high age of retirement. There are various

educated people are in wait of jobs but high age of
retirement is making young ones frustrated.

supplied and reduce the quantity demanded.
