fewerturnsonitssecondarysidethanonitsprimaryside.
Thiskindoftransformercanbefoundin
manyplacesaroundthehome,asalotof
appliancesuselowervoltagesthanthe
voltagesprovidedbytheNationalGrid. +

2) Weneedthereforetomeasuretheinputandoutputcurrentsaswellasthe
inputandoutputvoltages.
3) Notethattwoammeters,tomeasurethecurrents,andaresistiveloadhave
beenintroduced.(Checkitouttheinstructor).
4) Givetheloadresistancethevalueslistedinfollowingtable,measurethe
inputandoutputcurrentsandvoltagesandfillthetable.Estimatetheerror
onyourmeasurements.
