Q 4: NEED ASSESSMENT INVOLVES ORGANIZATION, PERSON

AND TASK ANALYSIS. WHICH ONE OF THESE ANALYSIS DO
YOU BELIEVE IS MOST IMPORTANT? WHY?
Most Important Component: Among the three
components of need analyses, I think task analyses is
most important.
Why: Task analyses results in description of work
activities and the knowledge, skill and abilities require to
complete that task. It helps organizations to identify what

perform the tasks in his job. It also gives the perfect idea
about the condition under which the task will be
performed; that is the equipment and environment for

YOU BELIEVE IS MOST IMPORTANT? WHY?
This information are used for multiple purposes such
as It helps to identify the important tasks and the
competencies which are of prime emphasize for
performing a given job.
It serves as a basis to identify the prerequisite
knowledge, skill or abilities that an employee needs to
have to perform a task. If there is lacking, training
would be necessary.

It guides organizations to determine what resources
they need to provide and focus on (equipment and work
environment) to get the expected performance from
employees. Similarly, it also help organizations to
determine whether employees performance problems
arise from lack of skill or lack of motivation through

ways, task analysis is somehow linked to organization

components of need analyses, I think, organization
analyses is least important.
Why: Organization analyses involves determining the
appropriateness of training, given the companys
business strategy, its resources available for training, and
the support by managers and peers for training. We
consider this least important because even if the
organization has lack of resources such as the needed
budget, efficient trainers or the needed time, training

Q 4: NEED ASSESSMENT INVOLVES ORGANIZATION, PERSON

AND TASK ANALYSES. WHICH ONE OF THESE ANALYSES DO
YOU BELIEVE IS LEAST IMPORTANT? WHY?
If may happen that an initial organization analysis
suggests not to spend financial resources on training. But
still, if a large number of employees lack a skill in an
important area that is related to the companys business
objectives , upper level managers may decide to reallocate
fund for training.
For this reason, I think in compare to task and person
analyses organization analyses is less important for need
assessment.

Q 6 (A): EXPLAINING HOW WOULD YOU DETERMINE IF

EMPLOYEES HAD THE READING LEVEL NECESSARY TO
SUCCEED IN TRAINING PROGRAM
Ability to read and understand the written materials is
one of the basic skills that employees need in training
programs. Many of the well developed training
programs fail just because trainees have difficulty in
reading the contents or instructions. Therefore before
sending employees to training, it is important to
identify whether or not they have the readability to
understand and learn the training contents.

Q 6 (A): EXPLAINING HOW WOULD YOU DETERMINE IF

EMPLOYEES HAD THE READING LEVEL NECESSARY TO
SUCCEED IN TRAINING PROGRAM
To determine whether or not employees have the
necessary readability, the organizations may set a
standard literacy level that an employee of a particular
class must have. Then they can conduct a reading test.
Trainees who can meet the standard or score above, will
be considered as eligible to attend training.
In this way, we can determine that employees has the
necessary reading level to succeed in their training
program

Q 6 (B): HOW WOULD YOU DETERMINE IF EMPLOYEES

HAD THE NECESSARY COMPUTER SKILL TO USE A WEB
BASED TRAINING PROGRAM?
Web based training program: The training facilities that are
provided through the web browser over any network, so that
learners or trainees can get them anytime and anywhere as
long as they have internet access.
To determine the employees necessary computer skill to use a
web based training program, the possible method would beconducting a simulated web based training for the target group
of employees.
Simulated web based training:
Identify a trainer and make him conduct a web based training
session with the target group of employees.

Q 6 (B): HOW WOULD YOU DETERMINE IF EMPLOYEES

HAD THE NECESSARY COMPUTER SKILL TO USE A WEB
BASED TRAINING PROGRAM?
The process will then be followed by identifying the employees
who has the necessary computer skill to effectively handle a
web based training.
Employees who can not handle the various tasks they need to
do under this training program, will also be identified and then
will sent for either the remedial training that works for
developing their computer skill, or will be eliminated from this
training program and will be placed for other tasks that match
their competencies.
