In the text, the author writes that the grandmother has
one good coat for a couple of very interesting reasons.
One of them is that the author notices an old woman
living beneath a train station in a cardboard box.
Another important reason is that the old woman sat
coatless in the cold. According to the author, the
thought of her own grandmother homeless in the cold
made her sad. It is interesting to see how the authors
own grandmother notices this mood and decides to
give away her one good coat in order to comfort both
the homeless person and the author.
