RASHI PURUSHA
AND RASHI CHAKRA
Purusha formed out of 24 principles like
Manas, 5 sensory organs, 5 Karmendriyas, 5
Indriyartha, 5 tanmatra, avyakta, mahan and
ahankara.
Entire universe is divided into 12 parts in the
Rashi chakra as Mesha, Rushabha, MIthuna,
Karkataka, Simha, kanya, Tula, Vrishchika,
Dhanu, Makara, Kumbha and Meena.

Akasha mahabhuta- is governed by Guru.

Vayu mahabuta - is governed by Shani.
Agni mahabhuta is governed by Kuja.
Jala mahabhuta - is governed by Sukra.
Bhumi mahabhuta - is governed by Budha.
Agni Shomeeya - Dvaita Siddhanta of Ayurveda.

roga.
Disturbing during intake of food, intake of unholy foods
-shopha roga ganda mala.
Filling the well with mud, stone etc. will result in shwasa roga.

the karma dosha.
Ayurveda explains the spiritual therapy for the
spiritual disease caused by the unholy deeds and
the effects of planets and constellations.
Sadvritta ( code of conduct ) which is the necessity
of todays world.
Ayurveda and vedic astrology thus guide the entire
mankind towards the way of holistic.

CONCLUSION
As Ayurveda and vedanga Jyotisha originated from
Vedas have much more relation and importance to
each other. The planetary position and the
constellations should be examined properly before
starting the treatment and prescribing the medicine.
While collection and preservation of plants the
importance of pushya nakshatra should be evaluated
properly. There should be much more studies to be
carried out to understand the role of astrology and
karma dosha in the field of medicine.
