There are two methods of sludge preparation for consecutive treatment:

The liquefied sludge is delivered to the centrifugal group where division
into two fractions occurs: centrate and cake.
Cake is loaded into the carrier and transported to the bioremediation site.
Centrate is supplied to the tank for settling.

As a result of centrate settling, a hydrocarbons layer appears on the
surface of the water. It is pumped out and returned to the Client.
Water is recycled.

On completion of a set of technological and engineering-and-technical measures aimed at oil-contaminated territories

remediation and elimination of contamination sources in Moscow river buffer zone
Under the Contract 1032 dated October 25, 2014 the specialists of Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Applied Technologies carried out
a set of technological and engineering-and-technical measures aimed at oil-contaminated territories remediation and elimination of
contamination sources in Moscow river buffer zone.
The leakage of hydrocarbon to Moscow river 150 m in length was stopped using the method of clay grouting of soil including
installation of underground bioactive filters for ground water discharge. The source of contamination of Moscow river buffer zone was
eliminated, the cleaning of ground water from hydrocarbon contamination was performed. Meanwhile, 65 000m3 of oil-contaminated
soil was remediated without excavation in Moscow river buffer zone and 200 000m3 of the said soil was remediated within the
territory of JSC Gazpromneft-MNPZ. The remediated territory was brought into the state safe for human health and the environment.
During the work execution there was no breaking of safety rules, fire and industrial safety regulations to be applied at chemical and
petrochemical facilities.
The quality of works performed complied with the requirements of the Customer.
Owing to appliance of self-developed technologies, use of specialized equipment, experience and non-standard problems solving skills
the specialists of the NNIAT successfully completed the task within the time stipulated by the contract.
The technology is eco-friendly, effective and recommended for large-scale implementation.
