DEFENSORIA PUBLICA DE TRABAJADORES Y
TRABAJADORAS

La Ley Organica Procesal del trabajo en su articulo 28

establece:
La Defensoria Publica del Trabajador sera aquel servicio de
defensa para los trabajadores y trabajadoras cuya
organizacion y atribuciones especificas sera las contenidad en
la ley de defensa publica.
Su funcion en materia laboral es:
Asesora, asisitir y representar a los trabajadores cuyos
derechos han sido vulnerados por el patrono bien sea por
despido injustificado o por desmejora.
Solicitar Ayuda traves de la instancia administrativas
(Inspectorias del Trabajo o Instancia Jurisdiccional.

Vigilar y fiscalizar el
cumplimiento de las
normas.

Prestar asistencia
tecnica a
empleadores y
trabajadores.

Promocion, educacion e
invenstigacion en materia
de salud ocupacional.

Ejecutar la Politica
Nacional en materia de
Prevencion, Salud y
seguridad en el
Trabajo.
Asesora a
empleadores y
trabajadores en el
area de la salud
ocupacional

Dictar las normas

tecnicas que regulan
la materia.
