It is susceptible to various external and

Present Scenario
Cosmetology, the science has been practiced
since time immemorial for beautification.
The recent interest of consumers in herbal
cosmetics has been stimulated by the decline
of faith in modern cosmetics and increased
acceptance as well as availability of herbal
cosmetics.

Herbs which bring about and establish the original
colour and complexion of skin are called Varnya
Dravyas (Colour and complexion promoters).
Mode of Action of Drugs
These drugs
Correct the vitiated Pitta (balances Bhrajak Pitta)
Detoxify the blood
Act as color and complexion promoters.

ALOE VERA
Leaf contains a hydrocolloid, which is composed of
polyhexanoses and hexans such as xylose,
arabinose and galactose.
The gel also contain salicylic acid, which has
keratolytic , bacteriostatic and moisturizing
properties.
It is recommended for sunburn,
minor burns, wrinkles, insect bites,
skin irritations etc.
