Problem Statement
Found PLATE BOTTOM 381-5402-01 warping during installing to PLATE SIDE PAX
TEST HEAD P/N:381-5403-00 and cause fan tray rib short with back plane.
Please refer to below picture:

Found PLATE, BOTTOM P/N: 381-5402-01 frame warping after assembly
with secured screw to PLATE SIDE PAX TEST HEAD P/N:381-5403-00.

Process Evaluation
Test Head Side skin (p/n 381-5288-01) has a
height difference of 0.008 between the coated
area and the uncoated area

Remove the paint at test head side skin to level the surface height and the bottom plate (381-540201) with all screw tighten as below, and install the fan panel;

Result of Evaluation

Fan panel install to card cage with the below result;

Feedback From Evaluation


Finishing of the tester assembly look bad based on cosmetic spec.
Attached the comparison of tester with and without paint removing at test head side skin;
