WHAT IS STELLA SOFTWARE?


STELLA is a modelling software that shows
charts and animation.
This software also help visual learners discover
relationship between variables.
STELLA also enable student to be creative by
changing variables and student to look for
relationships
Build student to become more exposed to the
ICT devices.

OBJECTIVE USING STELLA


To train student to make prediction at the
end of the experiment after running the
simulation in the STELLA software.
Teachers are more easier explaining
theory and able to related the experiment
within the scientific concept.

Prey-Predator (lynx and
hare)

Lynx is a wild cat with yellowish-brown fur (sometimes


spotted), a short tail and tufted ears, found chief in the
northern latitudes of North America and Eurasia.

Hare is a fast-running, long-eared mammal that resembles


a large rabbit, having long hind lengs and occuring
typically in grassland or open woodland.

How interaction between a predator
and its prey can influnce population

CONCLUSION FROM EXPERIMENT


So what everyone can conclude from the graph
that we got ?
a) As the predator hunting increase, the number of
the prey will be decrease.
But
b) As the predator decrease the hunting, the
number of the prey will be increase.

Teacher can explain a difficult
interrelationship.
Student involvement in the activity.
Thinking and make the prediction on the
situation.
Able study and investigate the natural
condition.
Effective way for teaching or
demonstrating concepts.

DISADVANTAGES USING STELLA


Expensive to build
The test would take too much time
Require an internet connection
Lack of practical experiment
Unable to interpret the simulation results in certain
experiment

CONCLUSION
Stella software makes learining and teaching
more interesting and attractive.
One of the alternatives to attract the student to
learn in many subject where required a critical
thinking and the relationship with each other.
The content are more easy to be understand.
