What is Skin Cancer


Skin is type of cancer that occurs when skin cells are
damaged, for example, by overexposure to ultraviolet
(UV) radiation from the sun. Its also uncontrolled growth
of abnormalskincells. It occurs when unrepaired DNA
damage toskincells (most often caused by ultraviolet
radiation from sunshine or tanning beds) triggers
mutations, or genetic defects, that lead the skincells to
multiply rapidly and form malignant tumours.

2 in 3 Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer by the age of 70.[1]
More than 2,000 Australians die from skin cancer each year.[2]
Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world.
Skin cancers account for about 80% of all new cancers diagnosed each year in Australia.[3]
The number of treatments for basal and squamous cell carcinomas is more than five times the incidence of all other cancers combined.
Medicare records show there were 974,767 treatments for squamous and basal cell carcinoma skin cancers in 2015 thats more than
2,500 skin cancer treatments every day. [1]
Basal and squamous cell carcinoma skin cancers accounted for almost one quarter of all cancer-related hospitalisations in 201011. [4
]The cost to the health system of these skin cancers alone is estimated to be more than $500 million annually. The costs to the Federal
Government and the community from basal and squamous cell carcinomas are predicted to continue to increase in the future. [5]
The most commonly diagnosed cancer among adolescents and young adults is melanoma; it accounts for more than one-quarter of all
cancers among Australians aged 1529 years.[6]
In 2014, 386 Victorians died from skin cancer, 1.5 times the Victorian road toll that year.[7]
It is estimated that approximately 200 melanomas and 34,000 other skin cancer types per year are caused by occupational exposures in

Local support for skin cancer


An estimated 128,000 new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in Australia this year. Providing support
for cancer patients, people living with cancer, their families and carers is a key activity of Cancer
Councils around Australia.
Cancer Council 13 11 20provides a confidential telephone support and counselling service (cost of a
local call). When you call you will automatically be directed to the Cancer Council Helpline operating
in your state or territory.
Most Cancer Council support services are provided at a local level. Each state and territory Cancer
Council offers a range of patient support facilities (details can be found on individual websites, see
links below), these often include:
counselling services
support groups and networks
education groups, programs and information
practical assistance

My suggestion about diet


After all the research that I've gone
into my suggestion about diet are:
Beta-carotene: carrots, squash, mangoes,
spinach, kale, sweet potatoes.
Lutein: collard greens, spinach, kale.
Lycopene: tomatoes, watermelon, guava,
apricots.
Selenium: Brazil nuts, some meats and breads.
Vitamin A: sweet potatoes, milk, egg yolks,
mozzarella

My suggestion
Is to never give up on hope because once
you raise your hand up and ask Allah for
mercy and to make it easy for you and
make you find the right treatment. Allah
will let down. So always be positive and
remember if you even want to move a
mountain and you trust that Allah will
help you. YOU WILL MOVE IT by the will of
Allah and the faith that you with Allah
