INTRODUCTION OF ASHOK
HOTEL
The Ashok hotel owned and operated
as Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) of
the
India Tourism Development Corporation
(ITDC) in India. ITDC other than Ashok
hotel has two other hotel which are:
Hotel Samrat and Hotel Janpath in New
Delhi.

PROCEDURE OF INDUCTION TRAINING


All the newly recruited employees
shall undergo an induction
programme as scheduled by H.R
Department and implemented by the
Training Department . The induction
shall comprise of two parts or days.

In case of the contractual bases in the
kitchen ,
the Executive Chef take the trade test for

new comers in the kitchen and then decide
which candidate is best for the best vacancy.

The Samrat hotel owned and

beautifully landscaped gardens
which it shares with Delhi's landmark
Ashok Hotel.

MEDICAL BENEFITS
The maximum limit for health check
up package is Rs 3,000 for the
employees in the age group of 40
and above .The
maximum limit of dental check up
of an employee is Rs5,000.

RETIREMENT
The retirement age of the permanent
employees of Samrat Hotel is 58
years. The permanent employer gets
gratuity at the time of retirement .A
letter of thanks is also given to the
employee for the services for the
hotel .

LEAVE
The Back Office can take 66 days
holidays each year and Front Office
can take 60 days holidays each year.

WELFARE
The permanent employees get Rs100
per month for house allowances .The
permanent employers get Rs1000 for
marriage .The employer can dryclean the uniform in the laundry
without paying any money. There are
locker facility for the employees .

ATTENDANCE
There are three biometric thumb
impression machine for permanent
employees . There are CCTV camera
near the machine .There are three
biometric thumb impression machine
for contractual employees. In the
first week of the month ,the previous
month attendance timing of the
employees are written on the sheet.
