OTHER IMPROVEMENTS IN PLACE OF RFID


Increase employee training - With employee training it is possible to
improve productivity but over the long run RFID implementation shall help
reduce labour costs as the number of personnel required shall be reduced
and minimal supervision shall be required. Employee training is a cost that
shall be endured even with the implementation of RFID and cost benefit
shall be much higher
Reduce Backroom space - Reduction in backroom area shall only reduce
the area costs but no improvement in operational costs. Identification of the
items placed in the backroom may be easier but the frequency of
replenishment from the back room to the front shelves may have no
apparent improvement.
Individual accountability - Assigning responsibilities to each of the
workers as to what their KPIs are in order to specify tasks to all workers.
Tracking productivity in this scenario shall be more feasible and
