Introduction Song begins with guitar playing


Lead singer begins with same guitar chords being played as intro, music is
simplistic in texture. This is a monophonic song at this point. The form contains
the repetitive guitar chords. As we come to the end of the verse the drum beats
become more prominent. The tempo picks up.
It then slows down as the chorus being sung. This chorus is sung very lightly
giving the timbre a light feel.

Introduction It starts with the guitar, bass, and drum at the beginning mixed with electronic
beat giving a distinct beat for the rest of the song.

Lead singer starts with and the musical accompaniment being very simple with
the constant beat from the introduction continuing keeping the same rhythm.
The melody is polyphonic as is common with popular music. There is start of
Harmony is in full force at this point with the counterpoint to the chorus with the
Oh Oh Oh Ohs being sung on the off-beat driving the rhythm. Though harmony
remains consonant even with its counterpoints.
Other than the words that have changed the music accompaniment and
harmonies remain the same.

The only musical accompaniment is from the drum establishing the beat. The
lead singer sings this nearly accapella, you then hear other voices adding depth
with ahhs and with the other vocals giving the song depth and great consonant
harmony.

The notes are disconjuct, bouncing around giving the song a bouncy texture.

Chorus

The electronic synthesizer along with the drums and guitar maintain the beat throughout
the chorus. Harmony is consonant and mostly present in the chorus.

Drums and guitar start out with a emphasis on the first and second beat. The drums then
accelerate the rhythm, you then hear a Wooo! by the lead vocalist. The beat is
restablished by all instruments with emphasis back on the first and second beats.

This chorus section starts out and ends the same as the previous chorus.

There is no change to the chorus .

Singer comes with an ascending melody and expresses in a light timbre the yearnings of he
heart.
