Gen. 49: 2-10
Mt. 1: 1-17

INTRODUCTION:
Every year since 2011 we have
a focus for the year until 2021
the 500 years of our
Christianization as a people.
Last year 2016 on the occasion
of the Jubilee of Mercy, Pope
Francis made the whole wide
world to focus on Mercy.

In addition to this
worldwide focus, the CBCP
in view of the 51st IEC held
in Cebu in January 20-31

whole Country to add the
Eucharist and the Family
as its focus as well.
