Total industry size of 2016 is $376.6 billion .

Total annual mobile shipment is 1.83 billion handsets.

Total annual Smartphone shipment is 1.01 billion

Now India is on 3rd place .

But according to our forecasting , India can acquire 2nd place till
2020.

And, main driver that effect this change is high penetration of


internet users.

( DESCRIPTION ANALYSIS AND
QUESTION RESPONSES ANLYSIS)

I have done the primary research on the basis of consumer buying


behavior toward the Smartphone shopping.

I used the questionnaire which is based on Random sampling.

To analyzing this survey I used the SPSS and MS EXCEL software and
apply the descriptive analysis and question to question analysis.

The findings are: on the basis of 91 responses,

100% users have smart phone.

On asking how many smart phones do you have, I found, 75% users
have only 1 smartphone,12% have 2 smartphones,2% have 3 smart
phones and 1% users are those ,which owns 4 or more than 4 smart
phones.

On asking which is your first Smartphone brand, I found more than


40% Smartphone users have Samsung & Sony as their first smart
phone brand.

On asking How much time do you spend on Smartphone daily? I


found 29% users spend 2 to 4hrs ,33% spend 4 to 6hrs,20% spend
6 to 8 hrs, 4% spend 8or above hrs and 5% are those ,spend less
than 2 hrs.

On asking Where do you use usually your smart phones? I found


major % of users uses smart phones at home.

I feel uncomfortable when I am without my Smartphone- 30% of


the users are strongly disagree,26% are disagree, 12% are
neutral,11% are agree and 12% are strongly disagree by the
above statement.

On asking Which one would be your next Smartphone brand? I


found 62%users wants to buy apply as their next Smartphone
brand .
