Remember that form follows function!
Due to common phylogenetic origins, the upper and lower limbs share a
very similar overall arrangement; each having three primary segments
Anatomy is VISUAL: take advantage of the labs!
Organizing the muscles and nerves into their shared features helps
memorization
Try to understand the muscles as groups within compartments
Try using mnemonics and/or visual aids
