PENGELOLAAN WADUK

1. Sebuah danau yang mempunyai luas 26.200 km2,elevasi tahunan

seperti pda gambar 1. Sedangkan rating curve keluaran danau
seperti pada gambar 2.
Hitung dan gambar :
a. Hydrograph outflow tahunan
b. Hydrograph net inflow
Semua hitungan berdasar rata2 debit bulanan pada setiap akhir
bulan.
2. Bila danau dapat diatur untuk pengendalian banjir elevasi harus
diantara 101.30 101.70 m, diusahakan 101.40 m. Biaya kontrol
dam diperkirakan
$ 10 000 000 (Curve C) lihat gambar 6.5.2. Hitung dan gambar:
a. Stage dan outflow hydrographs dari pengaturan keluaran
debit ?
b. Biaya perbaikan yang sesuai pada operasi danau ?
3. Bila danau digunakan untuk PLTA diusahakan debit selalu diatas
2200 cms tapi tidak lebih dari 2600 cms.

Irrigation
4 In Figure 4.1 is shown the location of an irrigation district.
The irrigated area is 100,000 Ha. The gross area of the
district, including non-irrigated land, canals, roads and
towns, is 200,000 Ha. In table 4.1 are shown some
pertinent hydrologic and agricultural data of the district.
The prevailing ground water table is on the average some
10 m below the ground surface. The district contains mostly
coarse alluvial soils. Determine successively: the crop water
requirements, the irrigation requirements, and the diversion
requirements in m3 per month during the driest year on
record. Assume a relation between monthly rainfall and
water available for evaporation-transpiration as shown in
Figure 4.2 Assume that 10 % of the diversion requirements
is lost due to evaporation and overflows into the drainage
system; that the filtration losses in the canals and ditches
are 30 % and on the farmenrs fields durung irrigation : 20%
of the incoming flow.

5 Assume that 80% of the filtration losses of Problem 4 will be

recovered by pumping from the groundwater reservoir. Assume
also that over-pumping of the ground water reservoir in dry years
and replenishment in wet years will make it possible to design the
diversion requirements on the basis of an average rainfall year.
Prepare annual water budget for such conditions, using the
diagram of Figure 4.2. Determine an attractive pattern of monthly
diversion requirements. Perform these calculations :
a. Assuming that the infiltration from the rainfall to the
groundwater reservoir cannot be used for irrigation since it must
continue to perform its normal function in maintaining the water
balance in other areas;
b. that 80% rainfall infiltration is available for pumping for
irrigation.

6. The reservoir at fig 4.1 serves several purposes ,including

irrigation and flood control. Determine the rule curve for
regulating the reservoir for irrigation purposes, assumming
that the bottom of the range allocated to irrigation is at
elevation 460 m ; that the reservoir has a surface area of
400 km2; that the diversion requirements for irrigation are
as shown in the solution to problem 4; that a minimum
riparian flow of 50 m3/sec must be maintained in the river
channel downstream of the reservoir; and that the recorded
average monthly inflows to the reservoir are shown inTable
