Motorcycle Security System Base On

Microcontroller Via Smartphone

Sumary

We are interested to create a security

system for motorcycle. The goal of this
project is for secure motorcycle from theft
act. This system consist of microcontroller
that was installed into the motorcycle and
java program on smartphone as application
to control all system in microcontroller. This
project can be completed in 5 months for
low cost of Rp. 5.000.000

Background

Today when life getting harder. There are many

people make criminal act. They are going to do
everything to meet needs of daily life, such as:
corruption, thief, and criminal act others. Example
motorcycle thieves. The owner have to take more
attention to keep it safe. We need security system
for that and the system we need to a smartphone
that support by java program and bluetooth as
media transmisionof massage owner. On
smartphone were installed application base on
J2ME. This application has screen view and easy to
use by everyone.

Problem

The transmission system from motorcycle to

the smartphone must be able to use
bluetooth. In this condition, bluetooth only
can transfer in range 100 meters. For the
fitire, this system should be upgrade so
there is not obstacle in processing
transmission. But the only one way to solve
it shortly is use operator celluler signal.

Objective
The primary objective of this project are:
1. To create motorcycle security tool with high
quality, practical, and sophisticated. This
project sonsist of component:
a. smartphone is supported by java program
b. microcontroller
c electrtronic compinens
d. box for case
2. Keep motorcycle security from the theft
3. Manage a criminal act

Scope

This project is going to focus create a

system security for motorcycle only and use
java application to be applied on
smartphone to control the microcontroller.

Methods
During compete this project, there are some
produre we have to remember such as :
1. Aplication the was installed on smarthphone
has GUI screen view. It more interest and
easy to use.
2. Creating a microcontroller we need to use
series AT89S52. this series has good
performance and bigger capacity that old
series and add features inside.
3. Microcontrolle will be connected to electric
source to manage motorcycle.

Credentials

Currently, iam senior in telecomunication

electronics engineering at PCR. I have
completed severel course that relate to this
project including : embeded system, digital
logic, microntroller. The wireless
transmission system is also focus of my
program. For this course, I will be working
as part of team with my friend.

Conclution

With the presence of this project will be

easier to control and keep our vehicle safe
and also we can manage criminal act for a
better future
