Preparing the Workspace


1. Remove items currently cluttering work space
2. Wash your food preparation area
3. Clear stovetop of any items
4. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water

Gathering Ingredients
1. Gather the following ingredients
1 pound skinless boneless chicken breasts
1 head of broccoli or equivalent to 3 cups broccoli florets
250g feta cheese
1 medium jar (250 g) sundried tomatoes in oil
penne pasta
2. Place ingredients on preparation area counter

Gather Cooking Supplies


1. Gather the following cooking supplies
1 large frying pan (with lid)
1 tbsp. measuring
spoon
1 large pot
1 wooden spatula
1 medium pot
2 sharp knives (large)
1 medium bowl
1 pair oven mitts
1 cutting board used for raw meat
1 serving spoon
1 cutting board used for vegetables
1 measuring cup (1 or 2 cups)
1 colander or sieve (for draining pasta)

Cooking Instructions
Preparation
1. Fill the medium pot full of water
Place it on a back burner on high heat to boil

2. Fill the large pot full of water


Place it on other back burner on high heat to boil

3. Place Frying Pan on front burner


Do not turn the front burner on yet

Cooking Instructions
Chicken
1. Take chicken from package
Place on cutting board for raw meat

2. Cut chicken using large knife into 1 inch cubes


3. Turn frying pan burner on to medium-high heat
4. Add 2 tbsp. of Sun-dried tomato oil to frying Pan
5. Add chicken to frying pan
6. Turn chicken regularly for even cook for 7-8 minutes
7. Place cutting board and knife in sink
8. Wash hand thoroughly after touching raw chicken

Cooking Instruction
Broccoli
1. Take out cutting board for vegetables
2. Cut broccoli into bite-size florets
3. Add cut broccoli to medium pot of boiling water
4. Boil broccoli on high for 3-4 minutes
5. Place any unwanted broccoli stem/pieces in compost
6. Place cutting board in sink
7. Add in cup sun-dried tomatoes to chicken

Cooking Instructions
Pasta
1. Pick up measuring cup
2. Measure 2 cups of dried penne pasta
3. Add pasta to large pot
4. Stir pasta
5. Cook pasta for 8-10 minutes
6. Stir chicken/tomato mixture
7. Stir broccoli

Cooking Instructions
Removal from Heat
1. Cut a few chicken pieces in to ensure it is
thoroughly cooked through
2. Remove the chicken/tomato mixture from heat
Turn off the burner for frying pan

3. Fill the medium bowl with cold water


4. Turn off the burner for broccoli
5. Use the slotted spoon to remove broccoli from the pot
and into the bowl of cold water

Cooking Instructions
Removal from Heat continued
6. Turn burner for pasta off
7. Place colander in sink
8. Put on oven mitts
9. Remove large pot from stove and take to sink
10. Drain pasta from water using colander

Combining Ingredients
1. Add Pasta in colander to pan containing
chicken/tomatoes
2. Use slotted spoon to transfer broccoli from cold water to
frying pan
3. Open feta cheese
4. Crumble 250g of feta cheese over mixture in frying pan
5. Mix together
6. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes

Serve and Enjoy

1. Remove lid from frying pan


2. Use a serving spoon to dish onto plate or bowl as
desired
