No one has greater love than this, to
lay down ones life for ones friends.
You are my friends if you do what I
command you. I no longer call you
slaves, because a slave does not know
what his master is doing. I have called
you friends, because I have told you
everything I have heard from my Father.
It was not you who chose me, but I who
chose you and appointed you to go and
bear fruit (Jn 15:1316). Commitment to Jesus is Associated with Friendship

TRUE VINE Remain in me, as I
remain in you. Just as a
branch cannot bear fruit
on its own unless it
remains on the vine, so
neither can you unless
you remain in me. I am
the vine, you are the
branches. Whoever
remains in me and I in
him will bear much fruit,
because without me you
can do nothing (Jn 15:4
5).
