Government Assistance

For ELA we could study the government documents.

A plan that could be used is ELA, (a financial planning system) which means
emergency liquidity assistance that is a provision by an Eurosystem national central
bank to a solvent financial institution, or group of solvent financial institutions, that
is facing temporary liquidity problems, without such operation being part of the
single monetary policy.

Math: Poverty rates
The official poverty rate is 13.5
percent, based on the U.S.
Census Bureau's 2015
estimates. That year, an
estimated 43.1 million
Americans lived in poverty
according to the official
measure. According to
supplemental poverty
measure, the poverty rate was
14.3 percent.
Math: Government Assistance
In 2012, about 1/5 of the U.S.
population (52.2 million)
received some kind of public
assistance every month. About
15% of the population was
receiving Medicaid and 13% were
on food stamps. Just 1% were
getting cash benefits through
TANF or General Assistance.
Poverty Across the United States
Poverty affects more people in the
southern states than those in the rest of
the United States.
Why do southern states have more
poverty? As you can see, southern's states
have the most income equality among
the whole United States, therefore
they have more families living in
poverty situations
