LPG Bottling Plant

in UAE
Liquefied Petroleum Gas or Liquid
Petroleum Gas is the commonly used
fuel than any other conventional fossil
fuels.

From cooking to central heating, LPG

offers a wide variety of solutions and
has been increasingly used in many
sectors including agriculture, healthcare,
construction, hospitality, metal cutting
and welding, power generation, and
transport.
With the tremendous increase in the
consumption of LPG, the number of
gas cylinder suppliers in Dubai has
increased by leaps and bounds.

In fact, LPG is the most preferred gas for

cooking in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah,
Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman and other parts
of the Middle East.
LPG is extracted as a byproduct of natural gas processing and by
oil/petroleum refining and consists mainly of propane or butane or
the mixture of both. But sometimes propylene or butylenes and other
hydrocarbons can also be found in small concentrations.

However, most of the industrial gas supplier in Dubai offers

propane. Since LPG is safe and portable, it is easy to store and
transport, giving a meteoric rise to the LPG Bottling Plant in UAE.
What is an LPG bottling plant?

LPG bottling plant is a plant where the pressurized LPG gas is filled into cylinders and then
transported for distribution. The plant is well-equipped to receive bulk gas from the trucks
or pipelines from any reliable sources.

When the cylinder is filled, it will be transported to reach its users. Most of the
gas cylinder distributors consider this method as the cheapest and safest method of
transporting bulk gases.
Though it is the simplest way to store and
transport gas, it requires a number of
procedures to bring out a filled cylinder. The
steps followed in the filling of
industrial gases Dubai are:
Washing and drying - In the first step
of the process, the high pressure water
is forced through the cylinder to remove
any stains or dust particles. Later, the
cylinder is made dry in the drying unit.

Purging - Purging is a two step process

where the vacuum is created in the first
step and then the vapor LPG is filled in
the cylinder.
Evacuation - Using the equipment, the liquid LPG is removed from
the cylinder. And at this stage of the process, the cylinder is put to
test for any leakage.

Auto cap fixing - Once the cylinder passes the evacuation stage, a
cap will be fixed on top of the valve of LPG cylinder.

Aluminum seal crimping - As a final process, the cap will be

crimped around the valve.
Late in the 1900s, the demand for LPG was
estimated at 9.0 million tons by 2001-2002 and
12.0 million tons by 2006-2007. Considering
the demand of LPG and its usage, it is evident
that LPG will still continue to rule the oil
industry.
