Disability vs. Handicap
A disability is a difficulty or inability a
person has to do something specific like
walk, hear, or speak.
Consider these as difficulties with sensory
input or output / expression of knowledge or
skill.
A disability becomes a handicap when it
prevents a person from performing a
function in a particular environment.
