Forming Questions & Hypotheses
Forming Questions & Hypotheses
Scientific questions can be investigated by collecting and
analyzing data. A question is not considered scientific if
it deals with opinions, ideas outside of the physical world,

Examples of Scientific Questions

How do seashells form?
Why do we yawn?

Examples of Nonscientific Questions

Which breed of cat is the friendliest?
What color is the prettiest?
Will I have a good school year?

After a scientist forms a scientific
