In 2001 Argentina had 5 presidents in 10 days.
It is currently the 54th wealthiest nation.
The Rufous hornero is the national bird of Argentina.
The word Argentina comes from the latin word for silver
because the Europeans believed that the country was
filled with silver
The country holds the highest divorce rate.
What type of cancer is common
in Argentina?

The most common cancer in Argentina is breast cancer, 1

out of 8 women in Argentina will develop the disease.
The reason for developing this cancer has not been
identified yet, but risk factors have, risk factors like;
-Drinking alcohol
-Getting hit in that area
- Also , if your mother, sister, or daughter has
developed it , that you are 2-3 times more
likely to develop it.
What are the symptoms of the
disease?

Some symptoms are lumps in the breast;

- changes in shape or texture of the breast
- Youll start feeling some discomfort
- Skin irritation
- Dimpling
- Swelling
How is it being treated and who
are those majorly affected?

Breast cancer is being treated through different types of

therapies such as ;
-radiation therapy , chemo therapy & targeted
therapy, and hormone therapy.

Women are more likely to develop breast cancer than men

are. Its about 100 times less common for a man to develop
the disease.
Women 40 and over are more likely to get the disease than
a women under 40 , the most common is a women over 70.
 How can we help?

A few ways to help are by;

society to help researchers find a cure to this
disease.
