STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
WRITE YOUR TOPIC IN THE FORM OF A
QUESTION. With a question mark at the end.
THIS SHOULD HAVE TWO VARIABLES
THE ISSUES IN THE RESEARCH PROBLEM HELP
TO BUILD THE QUESTIONNAIRE
THE VARIABLES ENSURE THAT THE
QUESTIONNAIRE IS WELL DEVELOPED
4 ITEMS FOR EACH VARIABLE IN THE
QUESTIONNAIRE
It must not be personalized e.g. Why do you
prepare for a hurricane?
The answer to question must not be a simple
yes or no
Research must be done to answer the question
Must state where the research is being
conducted
Statement of Problem
Select TWO clear variables
A variable is a measurable

A factor that changes and can be
measured

THE RESEARCHER CHOSE A QUESTIONNAIRE
AS THE INSTRUMENT OF DATA COLLECTION
THE ADVANTAGES OF USING A
QUESTIONNAIRE ARE:
Large amount of information can be collected
from a large number of people in a short time
Data can be quickly and easily analysed
They are cost effective

COVER LETTER MUST BE ATTACHED TO EACH
QUESTIONNAIRE

OF THE SBA, THE TOPIC WHICH THE
RESPONDENTS WILL BE QUESTIONED
ABOUT, IT PROMISES CONFIDENTIALITY

necessary,

Thank You

Yours truly,
