WHY BUSINESS
ADMINISTRATION?
Business Administration: a wide field that incorporates many types
of management positions.
Throughout high school, I always was interested in majoring and
developing a career in Business but I was not sure which field
specifically.

For Senior Independent Enrichment, I decided to focus on a more

broad subject, so I could educate myself more on each specific one.
Doing this allows me to go through a process of elimination and find
which field is just right for me.

 FINAL PROJECT AND
EXPERIENTAL LEARNING
For my Final Project, I have been going back and forth on what I
want to do. After thinking long and hard, I have finally decided
on creating my own mini products and creating labels and
business cards for them. Afterwards, I will be getting them
tested and rated, to see how much revenue I could make if I
actually went forward to pursue them seriously.

As for my experiential learning, I already job shadowed in the

summer, however, I want to job shadow a different company. I
have been looking into places and began contacting a few people
but nothing is confirmed just yet. It is all a work in progress.
From the few chapters I have read, I have learned about
networking and that is exactly what I am doing to help me land
another job shadow.
CAREER/COLLEGE PLANS
Currently, I have no idea what I want to major in college. I have
considered so many different careers, however, Business was
something more than just a temporary interest. I have had doubts on
whether or not I actually want to make this decision final, so this is
why I am doing my SIE on Business Administration.
If I truly decided that Business is what I want to do-->
-Marketing or Finance
-Internships
-Four year Undergraduate University: Bachelor's Degree
-Immediately afterwards go to Graduate School: Master's Degree
