Course Grading (Tentative)
Research Paper Assignment
Task: Understand and Present one IEEE Transaction (Journal) Paper on any aspect
of Renewable Energy
Note: Only IEEE Transaction/Journal/Magazine Paper is allowed

Use: http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/Xplore/home.jsp

Grading: Evaluation will be done on the depth and accuracy of your understanding
as well as your ability to Simulate and reproduce the results in the paper using any
simulation tool of your choice.

Important Dates:
1. Before OHT-1: Must finalize a unique paper. Its an individual assignment so
every student must present a different paper.
2. Before OHT-2: Must understand at least 60% of the paper. Students should have
regular discussions with me scheduled by themselves.
3. Before Last Week of the Semester: Must finish understanding 100% of the paper.
4. Semesters Last Week: Presentation Due. Students will attend all presentations
and should participate in Q&A.
