urban, Suburban and rural communities.

1. Region: A large area with at least one feature that
make it different from other areas.
2. Population: The total number of people in a place.
3. Urban: Having to do with a city.
4. Street: A public thoroughfare, usually paved in a village
town or city.
5. Crowded: Filled to excess.
6. Transportation: The movement of goods, people.
7. Suburb: an area on the edge of a large town or city.
8. Road: a long, hard surface built for vehicles to travel
along.

9. Countryside: Land used for farming.


10. Agriculture: The growing of crops and the
raising of farm animals for sale.

ACTIVITY IN CLASS

Write an invitation. Invite a friend to your community. In the


invitation tell about your community, including its population and
economy.

The invitations should describe the community, its size, its


people, its stores and business, and any special locations, the
things the friend would see and do there.
Students should include a greeting and a closing in their
invitations.
PROJECT

Students create a FLIP BOOK in which students draw and write


characteristics of the three types of communities (urban,
suburban, and rural).

Insight: If we want to succeed in life, we need to surrender upon the

Yare fear means to stand in awe, reverence, respect and


recognizing the power and position of God and giving Him
proper respect.

Pachad fear means to fear, dread or feel terror.
