Learned from Pre-Test

Every student knew stars are seen best at night,


but could not explain why.
Most knew the closest star to Earth, but thought
it was the biggest star.

They did not know the significance of colors,


sizes, temperatures, and patterns of stars.
They most likely never heard of a constellation
and did not think stories were made about them.
