FUTURISM
Thisarchitecture was part of an
artistic movement called
futurism, which came from Italy
back in the early 20th century
and whose founder was Filippo
T. Marinetti.
Futuristarchitecture is a form
of architecture that came to
introduce new ways based on
two major issues:
Motion

FUTURISTIC ARCHITECTURE
Futuristicarchitecture promotes
the use of steel, glass, and
cement, free of painting, or relief,
only rich in the beauty of its
shape and lines.

The inspiration for ancient art

was drawn from elements of
nature, while Futurist architecture
finds its inspirations within the
mechanical world it creates
where architecture has to be the
most attractive expression, the
most effective integration, as well
as, a complete composition.
WHY IT CAME ?
The problem posed in Futurist architecture is not one of
linear rearrangement.
It
is a question of tending the healthy growth of the Futurist
house, of constructing it with :
-all the resources of technology and science, satisfying
magisterially all the demands of our habits
- determining new forms
-new lines
-a new harmony of profiles and volumes
-an architecture whose reason for existence can be found
solely in the unique conditions of modern life.
Representatives of Futuristic Architecture are Antonio
SantElia, Cesar Pelli, Santiago Calatrava, Archigram, Louis
Armet, Welton Becket, Arthur Erickson, Future Systems, Zaha
Hadid, John Lautner, Oscar Niemeyer among others..

SUSTAINABILITY
While designing and construction of
the Burj Khalifa, a constant effort was
made to use environment friendly
methods.
These methods are wind turbines,
solar panels, condensation systems
and more.
It saves 3200KW of power per day.
It also uses solar panels to heat
140,000 litres of water everyday
which is distributed in homes and
other commercial entities in the
building.
From eco sustainable methods to
amazing art work, the Burj Khalifa is a
blend of an amazing depiction of the
old arab tradition and modern day
architecture.
