Description of the main Stake holders of Shell and which
influence they have on the company
Internal stake holders are seen by the wider community as reflecting Shell and
how it works. Shells main internal stakeholders its shareholders, employees
and suppliers. Large businesses like Shell, Sainsbury`s, Virgin, M&S are owned
by shareholders
Suppliers are also internal stakeholders who are shell`s partners in the chain of
production for example in bringing petrol pump. Shell has a number of core
values that are central to everythings it does.Shell`s reputation depends on
making actions reflect these core values. Shell works with contractors abd
other partners in the supply chain who also demonstrate these values. If they
do not, Shell will not use them.
Shel needs to work with a range of interest groups. These are decisions makers
and opinion formers.. People and organisations in positios of influence make
decisions and form opinion that can affect Shell. These include academics,
government, media, NGOs business leaders and the financial community.

Enviromental factors; the enviroment is perhaps the most important esternal
influence on any transport service.There is overwhelming evidence that human
activity is contributing to climate change.
Legal factors; legal changes that affect business are closely tied up with political

stockholders, employees and the general public. Shell believes
thay it has a key responsability to protect shareholders`
investment, and provide a long term return competitive with
those of other leading companies in the industry.

made healthy profits.
