OBJECTIVES

To design microstrip patch antenna

configuration with high gain, large bandwidth
and smaller size.

1
INTRODUCTION
Antenna is a electrical device which converts electrical power into
radio waves .
This paper proposes the design of 4-element microstrip patch
antenna.
It uses corporate feed technique for excitation.
Taconic is the dielectric substrate (r=2.2)
The design is simulated using FEKO software.
Frequency range 1 to 6 GHz.
Attractive for airborne and spacecraft applications.
Size reduction using high dielectric materials.
Narrow bandwidth should be enhanced.
Different feeding techniques

MICROSTRIP PATCH ANTENNA

Consists of thin metallic strip called patch.

Thickness of patch ( t << 0 )
Low profile
Simple and inexpensive
Patch radiates first because of fringing fields.
Mechanically robust to mount

Existing Technique
The antennas are very essential device for communication as
it is used as a transmitter device and receiving device.
For the microwave frequency communication the Microstrip
patch antenna is the best choice.
But it suffers from the problem of narrow bandwidth hence it
necessary to overcome this disadvantage.
There are lots of methods that are adopted to remove this
disadvantage.
This survey shows the bandwidth enhancement using H
shaped patch

Proposed system
For this to analysis the various structure of patches and to find
the better solution to the bandwidth enhancement.
In this system to survey the various shaped patches it given
