I. OBJECTIVES
An objective is something you plan to achieve. It
must be SMART, which means specific, measurable,
attainable, result oriented and time-bound.
In this plan, the objective is attainable of the
goal of the lesson.
HEADING
It is important that a plan should have a heading
which states the subject area, year level and section
whom the plan is intended, the date and time and
the time allotment of the plan.
In this plan being critiqued, there were no
specific section of the grade level, no date and no
time.
Key behavior indicator (KBI)
Values education is integrated in all subject
areas, so KBI has been an integral part of the lesson.
But from this lesson plan there is no values
integration which was supposed to be written under
the objectives.
II. SUBJECT MAT TER
Subject matter or specific topic includes sources
of information.
It was a good point that the topic, Science
concept, Science process, materials and references
were mentioned. However, in the plan the
instructional materials should be specific. The use of
visual aids, pictures are broad concept. It would
better to tell the content of visual aids and pictures.
In the references, the teacher forgot to include the
Curriculum Guide and Teachers Guide.
III. LEARNING PROCEDURES

Preparatory Procedure
Inclusion of some routine activities
in the plan such as prayer and
calling the roll are not necessary.
They are called routine thats why
they are already expected to be
done regularly.
DRILL
Drill is to impart or communicate by
repetition. It is an essential part of
a lesson plan because it prepares
the pupils to get in the mood for
class. However, in the plan, this
part not included.
REVIEW
Review is to study or recalling at
something again. It also important part of
the lesson plan because it gives sources of
the knowledge of the learners from the
previous lessons that aroused the pupils
interest in whats to come.
In this plan, review was mentioned.
MOTIVATION
As part of the lesson, it is expected to
provide direction, increase energy and
overall interest toward the lesson.
In the plan, the teacher showed a picture
and asked what was the picture all about.
PRESENTATION OF THE LESSON
The presentation phase of the lesson is when the
teacher introduces new information and it will
followed by the discussion. The discussion is really
the heart of all the parts where the teacher is
expected to explain, discuss or demonstrate what are
those that the students must learn.
In the plan being critiqued, the teacher forgot to
present and discuss the new lesson. It was already
the activity of the lesson.
ACTIVITIES
Activities is a series of activities students will
perform, either trough individual or cooperative
learning to develop their skills and to demonstrate
their understanding of the subject matter.
In the plan, activities were found. But the instruction
contradict or differ to the pupils activity, that makes
the activity confusing.
ANALYSIS
It is really important that after the activity
the teacher should immediately answer the
questions. Since the plan is a detailed one, it
is expected that there is an exchange of
conversation between teacher and pupil
written on the both sides of the plan.
In this plan, only the pupils have
something to do.
ABSTRACTION
In this plan being critiqued, the
abstraction of the lesson was obtained.
APPLICATION
It was a good application that the learners were able to
know or practice the preliminary activities. The teacher
gives two questions only to managed the time.
Infusion of values
It was found out that theres no particular part of the
lesson plan where the teacher infused the values.
IV. EVALUATION

In the plan being critiqued, the evaluation

is relevant with the objectives. However,
the answer key should be written in the
pupils activity.
V. ASSIGNMENT
Commonly we encounter confusion in this part
because of the two different terms, the assignment
or homework.
In the plan, the student teacher gave a new topic.
This is for the preparation of the next lesson.
