What is Water harvesting ?
It is the activity of direct collection of rain water.
Water collected from Air Moisture.
Why it Required ?
In dry-climate areas, Young trees transplanted from nursery into open
field require a minimum amount of soil moisture to successfully root
in their new location.
One possibility is to obtain the required water from air moisture.
Method & Material
Thermoelectric cooling uses the Peltier effect to create a heat flux
between the junction of two different types of materials.
A Peltier module is made of many semiconductor unions in order to
achieve a high temperature difference between both sides of the
module.

Solar Panel:
Photovoltaic modules use light energy (photons) from the Sun to generate
electricity through the photovoltaic effect. The majority of modules use wafer-
based crystalline silicon cells or thin-film cells.

Control system:
The computer controlled the energy that reached the Peltier modules by means
of digital outputs from a USB controlled data acquisition board .
Condenser:
In systems involving heat transfer, a condenser is a device or unit used to condense a substance
from its gaseous to its liquid state, by cooling it. In so doing, the latent heat is given up by the
substance, and will transfer to the condenser coolant.

Condenser
Operation of System.
It can be achieved by reducing the temperature of a surface below the air dew
point temperature, inducing water vapor condensation on the surface.
The temperature of a surface can be reduced by applying the thermoelectric effect.
Advantages:
o young trees transplanted from nursery into open field.
o Suitable for Irrigation.
o Non convectional energy used

Disadvantages:
o Initial High Cost
o Storage Limits
o Regular Maintenance
Application :
Fog Harvesting is an important source of water supply in some rural
areas of Nepal.
Fog water collection for trees in Gioda .
In dry-climate areas, transplanting of young container trees from the
nursery into commercial orchards faces a critical period during the
weeks following the transplant date.
Produce cooling Effect.
Conclusions:
Fog harvesting survive the young trees.
We should take every step possible to ensure that we make an
improvement in village standard living .
The latest reduction in the cost of photovoltaic modules and an
increase in their efficiency will lower the cost of the entire system.
