Love
Fall 2016
Because love is an
act of courage, not of
fear, love is a
commitment to
others. No matter
where the oppressed
are found, the act of
love is commitment to
their cause - the
cause of liberation.

Research Gaps
Focus was on how just groups (classes) are
affected by the Pedagogy of Love.
Lacks to expand to the impact on individuals.
Does love in the classroom have positive or
negatives for specific genders, ethnicities, or
cultures?
It is a task that requires that
those who commit to
teaching develop a certain
love not only of others but
also for the very process
implied in teaching. It is
impossible to teach without
the courage to love, without
the courage to try a thousand
times before giving up. In
short, it is impossible to
teach without a forged,
invented, and well-thought-
out capacity to teach.
