My Project
Over last summer as part of my Girl Scout Gold
Award I created a book that had many different
bible verses that dealt with problems a lot of
people struggle with.
I created it in Spanish and English.
Fora mission trip I went on, I took the books to
the Dominican Republic.
Why A Prayer Book?
A lot of people do not know who God is.
I want to help as many people as possible
bringing people to God which can really changes
lives.
Theproblems I selected, I personally have
struggled with.
How did I Create the book?
Ifound the verses through some devotions I did
based on the problems.
I used a Spanish dictionary.
I made it on word.
Printed it, four on a page at FedEx.
The Dominican Republic
Weleft the first of July flew from Chicago to
Miami and then to the Dominican.
We got there at night.
Westayed at Caribbean Mountain Academy in
Jarabacoa.

Made water filters
Helped with Vacation Bible School
How I Delivered the Books
Igave them to the Pastor of the churches we
made and passed out the water filters for.

Fundraising
My project cost a little under 300 dollars.
Iwas able to pay for it by the money I made
selling Girl Scout cookies
MyGirl Scout troop and I had a Taco Potato
dinner.
