5.1 Identify social policy at the local, state, and
federal level that impacts well-being, service delivery,
and access to social services.

A federal level policy is the protection of the abused,


neglected or exploited disabled adult act. The well-
being of adults is the main focus. The act targets the

The Adult Protective Services Act of 1984 provides


services for adults that have been abused or neglected
