INTRODUCTION
We have assessed the building construction impacts on the
environment for this purpose we have choosed the building under
construction for girls hostel in QAU Islamabad.
Building has three floor according to map.
This is a small project building have the capacity of 350 people
accommodation.
We have visited on the site and collected data from respective
engineer.
The data is as follows:

BIOLOGICAL IMPACTS
Deforestation:
The major bad impact on environment is due to
cutting of plants. At the site number of herbs,
shurbs and trees were present. They were cut off
for building construction.
 Habitat fragmentation:
The habitat of many vertebrates and
invertebrates become fragmented due to building
construction. In this way their habitat become
restricted ultimately their food become also
limited.
o Biodiversity disturbance:
Simply the flora and funna which are
interdependant become disturbed due to building
construction which decreases the biodiversity of
whole ecosystem.
