A. Backround of the research
Speaking skill Speaking skill is important as
communication tools
The students feel bored because the teaching technique is
monotonous
The students are not confident to speak English in front of
the class

speaking is an ability to pronounce, to convey
thoughts, ideas and feelings.

a. Definition
According to Hayriye Kayi, it can
conclude in teaching speaking the
teacher must pay attention of some
important aspects include producing
sentences, intonation, rhythm, and
stress.

their current proficiency to the
fullest.

students can speak freely and confidently in front of

There is an improvement of students speaking
skill through Toss and Tell Us game at the seventh
grade of SMPN 3 Dolopo

A. Research Design
1. Method
To collect information with the goal improving
students outcome this study also tried to describe the
events or the real conditions that happened in junior
high school of SMPN 3 Dolopo

According Kurt Lewin the design of Classroom
Action Research has four steps. They are planning,
acting, observing and reflecting.
