Objectives:
Participants will:
- learn about computer and technological innovations from B.C. to present.

- analyze information to make connections about the relationships between historical events.

- gather, discuss, analyze, and synthesize information to create a meaningful product (storybird presentation) in the
context of inquiry-based activities.

Modifications for Storybird assignment: Dates, facts and figures are only relevant as long as they help to demonstrate
the process or evolution of technology. The most important factor is that students see the relationships between technology
over time. To accommodate student needs, depending on learning objectives, we as the presenters might allow omissions
for certain facts or the formal citing of sources. We would only do so to allow more time for student research and deeper
discussion.

This assignment was designed to inspire and enhance student understanding of technology over time, as well as serve as a
source of information to which the students can look back to and reflect on as they continue to learn within their technology
based courses.
